Oonagh has had a love affair with chocolate for over 10 years as a Master Chocolatier. An unusual career change from the corridors of the corporate world of London, where she worked for 10 years, prior to discovering her true passion for all things cacao and chocolate.Over this time she has created many award winning and new styles of chocolate, but for the past 7 years her life has been and is devoted to being a true voice for the ancient ingredient Cacao, that makes chocolate and bringing this into the mainstream as an every day, nourishing and enriching food for support, positivity and mindfulness. Core to this for Oonagh is that all the farmers who grow Cacao in the Pacific have the opportunity to consume their own Cacao. No small vision given there are over 2.5million Cacao farmers through the Pacific.
Oonagh openly shares how she used Cacao to heal from a difficult time of PTSD which included extreme anxiety and depression after the Christchurch Earthquakes. She is a powerful advocate for the power of Cacao in Mental Wellness and how to work with Cacao on a daily basis to reduce mood swings, anxiety and depression and as a profound mindfulness tool. Cacao can support ones life to be one of joy. She describes Cacao as an extraordinary daily food for a joyful life.
Oonagh's knowledge of chocolate and cacao is nothing short of wizardry from farming, harvesting to the crafting and her great love is to share this knowledge so every cacao growing family and everyone who loves chocolate, can discover how to make everything from cacao powder to chocolate in their own home, all from the sun dried cacao bean.
Oonagh’s time as a master chocolate, now shows up in the crafting of medicinal Cacao, weaving with the amazing Chelita Zainey, traditional plant medicines into Cacao for powerful daily support in these intense times. Chelita and Oonagh are the co-creators of all the powerful interwoven medicinal Cacao available from the Cacao Ambassador, alongside many more co -creators who step in to support each blend. They have a heart and soul connection that travels eons!
Oonagh, is often shy about admitting that she is a Cacao Whisperer and can hear and understand the Cacao trees. They have given her a bold mission, which she has taken on heart and soul!

Chelita is a practitioner of the Māori Healing Arts including Hau Tapu Breathwork, Mirimiri, Rongoā Māori and Taonga Puoro.
She has been a practitioner, Teacher, Guide and Mentor for over a decade and has established a highly valued reputation throughout Aotearoa and around the world. She is our specialist inhouse Kai Rongoa, Kai Wairua and supports the Embassy and its ever-growing whānau in spiritual matters, indigenous medicine and guidance.
Chelita experienced an immense reconnection to Mama Cacao after her first activation from Oonagh in 2018. She was then called to sit with Cacao in the early morning hours before each day as a busy Mama would begin - Mama Cacao’s message to her - “I'm going to Heal your heart” Since then Chelita has experienced the magick, wisdom and guidance first hand as Cacao has supported her healing journey and in navigating a new joyful way forwards as a Mama to her son Nukutawhiti.
Her kaupapa/purpose has always been to acknowledge, clear, heal, activate and transform the wai/waters, the whenua/land and its people and Mama Cacao now flows like an awa to activate and support others on their journey to wellbeing wherever she goes.
Oonagh and Chelita began their collaboration together to weave and bring the world's first Rongoā Māori infused Cacao Pastes into being. Their journey together so far has been one of inspiration, integrity, MANA, Aroha and joy.
